Along with enhanced wireless transfer speeds, the Archer D9 supports Beamforming technology to focus the wireless signal directly to the end user eliminating signal loss that comes from blanket wireless network coverage. Inside the Archer D9, you will find a 1 GHz dual-core processor with shielded internal components and Ethernet ports to help reduce signal interference. Accompanying the wired network ports on the back you will find one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port for attaching peripherals such as external hard drives and printers.
You can even connect an ADSL line directly to the Archer D9 eliminating the need for a standalone DSL modem. Once configured you can secure your network using 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption, and wireless MAC filtering.
