Custom Omnidirectional Capsule For High-Quality Audio Pickup.
Designed with a custom omnidirectional signal capsule, it captures broadcast-quality sound from a 360-degree range and delivers it to your recording device via its 6m(20’) shielded cable. With the improved sensitivity, signal-to-noise, and flat frequency response, BY-M1 allows you to record every last audio detail with lower self-noise.
 
Two Recording Modes For Different Using Scenarios.
Featuring a 3.5mm 4-pole TRRS output connector, you can connect BY-M1 to your camera or camcorder under “camera” mode, and also connect it to your smartphone or PC when switching to “OFF/Smartphone mode.
 
Every Necessary Accessory Is Included.
In terms of accessories, you will find a lapel clip, foam windscreen all in the pack, an LR44 battery for using “camera” mode,  a 1/4" audio adapter for the compatible further device, and a carrying pouch to provide secure protection.


 
Using the microphone:
 

• For smartphones.

  Switch off the microphone. Slide the ON/OFF up to OFF/Smartphone.

  The power is shut down.

• For DSLR, Camcorders, Audio recorders, PC, etc.

  Switch on the microphone. Slide the ON/OFF up to ON.

How to use:

• Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the transmitter.
• Plug the BY-M1LV-D-RX into an iOS device or the BY-M1LV-U-RX into a USB-C device.
• Transmitter and receiver pairing
• Before leaving the factory, the system is pre-paired. Therefore, the connection will be established once they are powered on. If they are disconnected, please follow the steps below:
  ① Double-click the power button of the transmitter. The indicator flashes blue and red alternately.
  ② When the transmitter indicator flashes blue and red alternately, insert the supplied pairing pin into the small pinhole on the receiver. The indicator of the receiver flashes blue rapidly.
  ③ Transmitter and receiver will be paired within 10 seconds. Indicators of both will flash blue slowly.
• You are ready to record.
