The JBL Wind 2 portable Bluetooth speaker was made for the road specifically when you hit the road with your bike. This speaker snaps into an included handlebar mount. And if you're on foot, just latch the speaker to your backpack with the included carabiner clip. The Wind 2 is waterproof, so if you can stand the rain, so can the speaker.

Entertainment options

You can wirelessly stream music from your smartphone via Bluetooth. The Wind 2 also has a built-in FM tuner, so you can listen to the big game as you pedal through the countryside. There's also an SD card slot, for cards up to 64GB. Load your workout playlist and start pedaling!

Easy to use

The Wind 2 has side-mounted control buttons. They're indented, so you can easily find them without taking your eyes off the road. The speaker also has a stereo minijack, so when you get where you're going, you can plug in some earbuds and kick back. The Wind 2's built-in rechargeable battery gives you up to 10 hours of operation. And the speaker LCD lets you see what's playing.

Portable Waterproof Design: The JBL Wind 2 features a rubberized housing that's designed for all-weather use and carries an IPX7 waterproof rating.

Integrated Handlebar Mount: The Wind 2 includes a mounting bracket for attaching the portable speaker to a set of bicycle handlebars, letting you listen to music while out riding. The mount features a single tensioning knob that lets you quickly attach/detach the mount. The Wind 2 speaker simply snaps into the mounting bracket. A carabiner clip is also supplied for attaching the portable speaker to a backpack or belt loop.

Full-Range Driver: The JBL Wind 2 houses a single full-range driver powered by a built-in 5W amplifier that can provide a maximum SPL of 80 dB.

Bluetooth Functionality: The JBL Wind 2 features built-in Bluetooth (v. 4.2) featuring support for wireless audio (A2DP) and control (AVRCP). The portable speaker lets you stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled source device (such as your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or computer). The Wind 2 can also be used for hands-free phone calls and features a built-in microphone. If a call is received or initiated while in range, it will be transferred to the portable speaker. Additional phone functions include Answer/End Call, Reject Call, and Redial Call.

• Control: You can control Play, Pause, Next, and Volume +/- functions from the speaker, however, you will continue to use your Bluetooth-enabled device for advanced music navigation, to view song/artist information, as well as viewing/selecting your phone book.
• Pairing: The Wind 2 can pair with your Bluetooth-enabled device by simply searching and selecting the "JBL Wind 2". The portable speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 33'.

FM Radio: The Wind 2 features a built-in FM tuner. The FM source can be selected using the Power/Source button, with each press of the Play/Pause button advancing to the next available FM station. Station information will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Memory Card Playback: The JBL portable speaker includes a micro-SD card slot that lets you play music files stored on a micro-SD card (sold separately). Micro-SD cards up to 64GB are compatible.

Aux Input: A 3.5mm stereo input jack lets you plug a portable device in for playback from its headphone output. An 18" audio cable with male 3.5mm TRS jacks is included.

Headphone Output: A 3.5mm stereo output jack is provided for listening to the Wind 2 through headphones.

LCD: A front-panel 1-line LCD screen can provide information at a glance, such as the current FM radio station or the Clock. Icons for each Source will light when selected, and a battery level icon will display the current battery level.

Rechargeable Battery: The JBL Wind 2 portable Bluetooth speaker has a built-in Lithium-ion rechargeable battery (3.7V/730mAh) that provides up to 10 hours of playback time. You can easily recharge the battery using the included micro-B to type-A USB cable and a 12-volt/USB or AC/USB power adapter (sold separately). Charging time is approximately 2 hours at 5V/1A.
