The Ske POE-431P Mini UPS is a compact DC-to-DC micro UPS with USB, PoE, and DC output options, ideal for providing backup power to cameras, routers, and other 12V devices. The MUPS17W8.8AH model offers an additional passive PoE output, perfect for keeping your wireless CPE or router (such as MikroTik or Ubiquiti products) running during a power outage. Connect an Ethernet cable directly from the Micro UPS to your CPE/Router to power it. The USB port provides a 5V output, allowing you to charge devices like a cell phone.

Micro UPS devices do not suffer from the significant efficiency loss of traditional UPS systems, which convert 12V battery power to a 220V AC output. Instead, the Micro UPS series provides a DC-to-DC power output with much greater efficiency, resulting in longer run times. A typical home network setup with a Wi-Fi router and a fiber optic router can operate for up to 8 hours.
